The season three premiere of The CW's hit series The Vampire Diaries is right around the corner and producers along with stars Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev revealed some spoilers.First off, Ian talked a little bit about Elena's birthday. She doesn't let Damon buy her anything, however, he does end up getting her something she's been wanting for a long time, something she needed and he did what he had to do to get it for her. Elena questions how Damon got his hands on the gift. She believes he either stole it or stumbled upon it. Either way, it creates a romantic moment between them. "It's a really sweet, quiet moment", he said.
Next, Nina revealed that Elena and Damon will join forces to find Stefan if only to make sure he's ok, however, she's not sure if he'll be glad to see her. On top of that, producer Kevin Williamson mentioned that Damon won't be trying as hard to find his brother because his building relationship with Elena. Damon will feel the guilt of half-assing in the search for Stefan. Stay tuned for more Vampire Diaries updates!
