'Grey's Anatomy' Season 8 Promo, Meredith Fired

Grey's AnatomyABC released the first teaser promo for the upcoming eighth season of their hit series Gey's Anatomy and things get quite intense right off the bat as the first five seconds show Chief Webber (James Pickens Jr.) informing Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) that she's fired for screwing with the protocol on Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) Alzheimer's trial. Of course, it's highly unlikely that her being fired will last for long but it's certainly a nice way to get fans excited enough to tune in next month.
 
I've personally never been a fan of the series. In fact, I much preferred Scrubs which was more or less a parody of Grey's Anatomy. Of course, Scrubs was cancelled after a short ninth season so that may say something. In any case, you can read on to check out the promo and be sure to share your thoughts!
