Recap: Will Rachel Backdoor Jeff and Jordan on Big Brother?

Big BrotherI agree with most of America when they say that this season of Big Brother is getting a bit repetitive. Nevertheless, I've enjoyed watching from day one for the simple fact that Jeff and Jordan have returned to take another stab at winning $500,000. At first, I even liked the idea of Brendon and Rachel playing the game for a second time. I really didn't have much of a problem with the duo last season. I know the entire house absolutely despised Rachel and truthfully, she was constantly running her mouth. However, there weren't many interesting players last season thus Rachel and her new found boyfriend (or Brenchal) kept things interesting.

This time around, I have the urge to jam a sock in Rachel's mouth. Honestly, she does not know when to shut up. That said, Brendon is the more aggravating of the two because it doesn't matter what Rachel says or does, Brendon always takes her side...because he's madly in love with her. I'm really beginning to question if Brendon's lying about going to school to be a doctor. He just doesn't seem like he's that smart of a guy.

On the other hand, Jeff and Jordan are easily my favorite duo in Big Brother history. In fact, they're two of my favorite individual players as well. They're so laid back and rarely have anything bad to say about anyone. Even if they do say something negative about another player, they do it in a way so they don't come off as jerks. It's no wonder America loves them and it's no wonder viewers want them to take home the price.
When Jordan won HOH (Head of Household) last week, the thought crossed her mind to backdoor Rachel and Brendon. The problem there, however, is that one of them would go home and the other would receive the golden key. If it did come down to that scenario, I think it would be in the players' best interest to keep Rachel around. If you recall, Rachel was voted out last season and Brendon went on a rampage winning competition after competition. On the other hand, I honestly think Rachel is the brains behind the operation. This season, she's won two HOH competitions and Brendon hasn't won squat.

When the veterans formed an alliance at the beginning of the season, I couldn't have been happier. At the back of my head, however, I knew it wouldn't last. Rachel is a train wreck, letting her emotions constantly get the best of her. She takes every little thing way too personally. In addition, if it's not Rachel's way, it's the wrong way. When Jordan was HOH, Rachel urged her to put Cassie and Shelly on the eviction block because she thought Cassie was running the alliance between the newbies. Jordan disagreed, however, believing Dominic was the brains behind the operation. Jordan was the smart one as Dominic is the biggest snake in the house. Nevertheless, it would have been in Jordan's best interest to do what Rachel said as Dominic won POV (Power of Verto) and ended up taking himself off the block anyway. At that point, Jordan heavily considered backdooring Brendon and Rachel just do separate the two but wisely, she realized it was too early in the game to shake things up so severly and ended up putting Cassie and Shelly up for eviction. After it was all said and done, Cassie was the second guest to leave the house and during the HOH competition, Rachel won for the second time and it was time to decide who was going on the eviction block.

Last night, a luxury comeptition was held. Basically, the houseguests were given clues and had to guess which celebrity the clues were referring to. The first clue were bars of soap and what looked like binnoculars. Right then and there I guess David Hasselhoff...and so did Jordan. Jeff, on the other hand, had no idea how Jordan guessed David Hasselhoff and held his guess until the next clue which was a knight. At that point, I knew Jordan and I were correct. As it turns out, Jordan won the competition and her reward was to eat sushi and watch the first episode of Same Name, another reality show from CBS starring, you guessed it, David Hasselhoff. In addition, she was able to take three guests with her. Not surprisingly, she took Jeff, however, it was a shocker that she didn't take Brendon and Rachel. Instead, she took Kalia and Shelly. You can bet your bottom that Rachel was pissed. Like I said, she takes things way too personally and she even started crying. The only thing running through her head was to put Jeff and Jordan up for eviction and as usual, Brendon was right there encouraging her.

When it was all said and done, however, Jeff and Jordan were the first to be announced as safe and Dominic and Adam were put up for eviction for the second week in a row even though Rachel cut both of them deals. So who will be headed home next? And will Rachel make the game changing move of putting Jeff and Jordan up for eviction if Dominic or Adam wins POV? Find out Tuesday!
