Big Brother 13 Recap, Dominic Dodges Eviction

Big BrotherI'm really loving this season of Big Brother. The producers over at CBS have managed to keep viewers coming back for 13 seasons by constantly changing things up and this season is no different. Everyone, including myself, thought it was a bit odd that there were only 8 house guests when the latest season first aired. Considering a contestant on the show is evicted each week and the reaility series runs all summer, I knew there was going to be a twist, but I had no idea it'd be on such a grand scale.

As it turns out, the house guests learned that they would be working with a partner rather than rolling solo. That, of course, has its advantages and disadvantages. The biggest disadvantage, particularly for the newbies, is the fact that three duos from previous seasons of Big Brother were brought back to compete this season including Brendon and Rachel, Evil Dick and Daniella and...drum roll please...Jeff and Jordan. I mean, seriously, would you want to continue competing if you found out you'd be going head to head with arguably one of the best duos in Big Brother history? I know I wouldn't.

Keith was the first house guest to be evicted thanks to Rachel winning HOH (Head of Household). From the start, the veteran players formed an alliance and their plan was to pick off the newbies one by one. With Keith out of the house and Jordan winning the second HOH competition, the next newbies on the block were Dominic and Adam. Let me tell you now, I cannot stand Dominic. I was so proud of Jordan for putting those two on the block as Rachel and Daniella pushed for her to put Cassie and Shelly up. Continue reading for more!

Dominic is one of the biggest snakes in the house and I'm glad someone was smart enough to realize that he needs to go. Unfortunately, Dominic won the POV (Power of Veto) competition and not surprisingly, he took himself off the block forcing Jordan to put up a new duo. Cassie and Shelly are now facing eviction and Dominic is still slithering through the house.

During last night's episode, there was a big falling out between Jordan and Jeff and Rachel and Brendon. Well, it was more like Rachel opening her mouth (what's new?) and Jeff getting pissed at her. For a moment, I thought Jeff and Jordan were going to do something extremely dramatic which was backdooring Rachel and Brendon but when it came down to the final minutes, it was revealed that Cassie and Shelly were the new nominees.

Who will be evicted next on Big Brother? Stay tuned to find out!
