Julie Plec, one of the producers of The CW's popular series The Vampire Diaries, recently revealed more details regarding the upcoming third season which airs this fall. When asked in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter what fans can expect in the coming season, Julie mentioned that they plan to dig deeper into the original family and introduce some of Klaus' relatives.In the third season, fans will begin to have an understanding of why Klaus is so mad and who's responsible for making him the way he is. "Our show is about family and all the disfunctional glory and Klaus is probably the most disfunctional", said Julie.
In related news, if you're planning to hit up the Comic-Con event in San Diego, California, be sure to stop by The Vampire Diaries panel where some of the show's stars are scheduled to appear. They'll be answering questions and who knows, maybe they'll show some footage from the upcoming season. Stay tuned!
