The CW recently put out an official press release for The Vampire Diaries season three which revealed some pretty big spoilers. The press release mentioned that a war will erupt between Caroline's and Tyler's families. If you recall, the recent season two finale hinted at this, however, I doubt most of us viewers even put two and two together. I know I sure didn't. Caroline and Tyler will reportedly grow closer but only to watch their families grow more angry at one another.In addition, we will learn about Klaus' origins and his motives for wanting Stefan by his side. Stefan will move further and further to the dark side while Damon and Elena desperately fight to get him back. At the same time, however, the will struggle with the guilt of their growing bond. Do I sense a love triangle on the way?
Finally, Vicki's and Anna's ghosts will have a powerful message they're trying to deliver to Jeremy which will have a huge impact on he and Bonnie's relationship. Sounds like fans are in for some real surprises come this fall. Stay tuned for more Vampire Diaries updates!
