The CW recently announced their schedule as well as some scheduling changes. Nikita will be bumped from its Thursday night slot to Friday, airing after Supernatural. Many shows on the verge of being axed are bumped to Fridays, however, Supernatural and Smallville both kept steady ratings despite date shifts.Josh Schwartz, who created The OC and Gossip Girl, has a new series coming in September entitled Hart of Dixie. Not surprisingly, the show will star Rachel Bilson, former The OC alumn. In addition, both Gossip Girl and Hart of Dixie will air Monday nights.
Meanwhile, Kevin Williamson is keeping extremely busy. In addition to working on The Vampire Diaries, he too has a new series coming in September, Secret Circle, which is based on a series of books by the same author of The Vampire Diaries. Both shows will air Thursdays with The Vampire Diaries leading into Secret Circle. Read on for more!
Sarah Michelle Gellar will be headlining a brand new series, Ringer, which will air Tuesdays after 90210. Though kind of an odd pairing, Ringer is sure to get attention with Gellar as the leady lady.
Finally, Wednesdays will see the return of America's Next Top Model in addition to a new reality series, H8R. One Tree Hill won't air until midseason.
