The Vampire DiariesKatherine Attacks In New Vampire Diaries Photo. I'm really hating the hiatus the CW's "The Vampire Diaries" is on. This and FX's "Light Out" are the only two show's I watch religiously and I've had to resort to watching shows on Netflix just to fill the empty gap. "The Vampire Diaries" will return in April, but that seems like light years away. Fortunately, the CW has been good about releasing clips and photos to hold fans over. In fact, they recently released a brand new photo from the upcoming episode entitled "Know Thy Enemy."
 
In "Know Thy Enemy," Elena is visited by her mother. Meanwhile, Katherine appears to be back to her hold ways yet she still claims she wants to help the gang kill Claus. In addition, it's been reported that a new witch will be visiting Mystic Falls and good deeds are not on her agenda.
