Sandra Bullock wins best actress at Oscars! Yes, I'm probably just as excited as Sandra is that she finally gets to take home her very own Academy Award. I've always loved Bullock and feel she's an actress with great potential. Unfortunately, she tends to pick some really tedious movies, but even so, she always brings light to each of her roles.

Sandra, of course, won 'Best Actress' for her role in "The Blind Side". I predicted she would win in our feature 'Oscar Eye: Our 2010 Predictions' which I posted a few days back, however, I was extremely nervous that Meryl Streep would swoop in and take the trophy. So congratulations to Mrs. Bullock on her success!

Other nominees in the category of 'Best Actress' included Meryl Streep ("Julie & Julia"), Helen Mirren ("The Last Station"), Carey Mulligan ("An Education") and Gabourey Sidibe ("Precious"). All of these actresses were great, but obviously Sandra was the best!
