Conan O'Brien and Will Ferrel perform 'Freebird'. Last night on "The Tonight Show", Will Ferrell guest starred with his wife Viveca Paulin and you wouldn't believe what took place if it weren't for the title of this post. Conan O'Brien and Will Ferrell took the stage to peform "Freebird".

Ferrell and his wife dressed up in hippie clothes to perform the song made famous by Lynard Skynyrd. What shocking? The performance wasn't too bad at all. Of course, Will Ferrell never struck me as a guy that could sing and after this performance, I know just why. Nevertheless, he wasn't compltely awful. O'Brien played the guitar and he was joined by ZZ Top and Beck Hansen.

All in all, it was a great way for Conan O'Brien to finish off the night as host for "The Tonight Show". He and NBC have finally reached an agreement. According to reports, Jay Leno will return as host on March 1st. You can read on to check out the video of the "Freebird" performance.
