avatar'Avatar' won't win best picture. Just like he did with his mega-hit "Titanic", James Cameron's latest feature and now the highest grossing motion picture of all time, "Avatar" received a whopping 9 Oscar nominations. However, according to a recent interview he did with Empire Magazine, Cameron isn't holding his breath that "Avatar" will win best picture.

Cameron, who is also nominated for 'Best Director', is hoping his ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow takes home the award instead for "The Hurt Locker".

He said, "I always believe it's very unlikely that lightening will strike twice. I believe it's very unlikely that we will win because I made such a jacka** out of myself last time. Although there might be some curiousity about what I might do."

What do you guys think? Do you think "Avatar" is destined to win 'Best Picture' or Cameron 'Best Director'? Let us know inside!
