moviesWell this news totally bummed me out. It appears J.J. Abrams won't be directing the fourth "Mission Impossible" movie after all. Why? Abrams will be wrapped up in directing the highly anticipated "Star Trek" sequel thus "Mission Impossible" would interfere with that project. "I'm producing with Tom," he said recently. "My guess is, given other things, that I will not be directing the movie." He goes on to say: "I don't want to give anything away yet, but I will say that it's a story that will feel consistent with the world that has been created". "It's not a reboot kind of thing." Fortunately, he's producing the flick which means he can give the whoever winds up directing the picture a few pointers. Abrams directed the previous "Mission Impossible" sequel and it turned out to be quite amusing. We'll keep you updated on the project.
