A new photo has hit the web from Warner Bros. highly anticipated and final installment in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy The Dark Knight Rises. The image features a close look at Bane's neck which has one nasty looking scar going down it. In addition, Tom Hardy's seems to have a bad case of back-ne which has lead many people to believe that the actor used steroids to buff up for the role. I hate to be the one that breaks this, but there are far more causes for acne on the back than just steroids. It could be a result of dieting or it could be a medical condition. Seriously, this is exactly how rumors start.
In any case, you can read on to check out the photo and be sure to share your thoughts!

The Dark Knight Rises, perhaps the most highly anticipated motion picture of the year, arrives in theaters July 20th. Batman appears on the cover of this week's Entertainment Weekly and star Christian Bale and director Christopher Nolan shared a few details about their final Bat flick.
Christian Bale revealed to the magazine that he was under pressure during filming of The Dark Knight Rises because he feels he owes it to the fans. "I can tell you the truth because I'm done with it: I felt immense pressure. And I think it's a good pressure, because you owe it to the films - and the people's expectations - to make great work", he said.
Christopher Nolan addressed some of the concerns surrounding Bane saying, "I think when people see the film, things will come into focus. Bane is very complex and very interesting and when people see the finished film people will be very entertained by him." Read on to check out this week's cover for Entertainment Weekly! |

It's been rumored for quite some time that AMC planned to bring Martin Scorsese's Academy Award nominated mob flick Goodfellas to the small screen but the speculation is over. The television network is moving forward with the adaptation although no production schedule was given.
Nicholas Pileggi, who adapted his book Wiseguy into the screenplay for Goodfellas, is reportedly co-writing the pilot script with Jorge Zamacona. Irwin Winkler produced the motion picture and is on board the television show as executive producer alongside his son David Winkler. Warner Horizon Television will produce the series.
I'm anxious to see who will land roles in the new series. The 1990 motion picture starred Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci. Stay tuned! |

Though the release of Warner Brothers' highly anticipated sequel The Dark Knight Rises is still nearly seven months away, the fact that it's now 2012 makes it seem a lot closer. Last month, we witnessed the first theatrical trailer for the film which made my anticipation for the movie practically unbearable. I mean I have to be honest, when the studio first greenlit the picture, I was shaking my head in disbelief. Out of all the villains Christopher Nolan could bring to life, he chose Bane? And don't even get me started on Catwoman's costume. Nevertheless, having seen the trailer and dozens upon dozens of photos, Christopher Nolan made one bad ass villain out of Bane. I'm still not sure what I think of Catwoman but her new look is quickly growing on me.
Moving on, a brand new image from the film recently hit the web and it features a serious Bruce Wayne getting lecured by Alfred. The photo comes from the portion of the trailer in which Alfred says to Bruce, "You are as precious to me as you were to your own mother and father. I swore to them that I would protect you and I haven't." You can read on to check out the image!

The Vampire Diaries went on a long hiatus back in November but not before unleashing one of the most intense episodes from the series yet. There was a crazy showdown with vampire hunter, Michael and the seemingly unstoppable hybrid Klaus. Stefan was finally granted his freedom from Klaus' compulsion and now he's in a position to pull the strings. He's stolen the coffins holding the bodies of Klaus' family which as you can imagine, has Klaus enraged.
In the upcoming tenth episode of the show's third season which airs this Thursday (January 5th), Klaus uses violence to convey that no one will be safe in Mystic Falls until he gets his family back. The CW recently released a new photo from the episode entitled The New Deal and it features Klaus and Damon coming face to face with one another. You can read on for the photo and be sure to share yoru toughts! Is there going to be a violent showdown between the two or will they merely exchange some words? Find out Thursday!

| Disney's The Muppets Movie Review

Everyone loves the Muppets, and if you don't then there's something wrong with you, not them. That's like saying you don't like ice cream or kittens. The Muppets are everything that's right about show business. Not necessarily subversive in an overt way but consistently comedicly simple and absurd. If you watched the Muppets as a kid then there is a special place in your heart where they reside, and if you didn't then your childhood was robbed of something magical.
The Muppets have been stuck for almost two decades doing parodies of well known stories. This new movie is the first attempt to return to their roots, and to what made them great on their TV show. The TV show represents the height of their brilliance, followed by a handful of great movies, and then subsequently some not so great ones. But they are back to basics and that's a good thing.
In this latest Muppet movie the Muppets must put on a telethon in order to raise enough money to save their old studio from being destroyed. The movie is less about Kermit and the Muppets and more about a new Muppet named Walter. And while at first this may seem a little disappointing, what you realize is that Walter’s story parallels the films writer and star Jason Segel’s real life experience making the Muppet movie. It’s obvious that he was a true fan and made a film that honored the legacy of the Muppets. Segel plays Walters brother and comic foil Gary, and Amy Adams plays Gary’s girlfriend Mary.

Eight character posters have hit the web for Marvel's upcoming and highly anticipated superhero saga The Avengers which brings together well known heroes like Nick Furry, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Loki, Hawkeye and Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk. The film, which hits theaters May 4, 2012, stars Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett Johansson.
You can read on to check out the posters and be sure to share your thoughts! Joss Whedon directs the film which will battle Warner Brother's The Dark Knight Rises for the title of highest growing motion picture of summer 2012. Personally, I'm still upset that Edward Norton won't be reprising his role as Bruce Banner. I thought he did a fantastic job in The Incredible Hulk. Mark Ruffalo is a talented actor, don't get me wrong, but Edward Norton was born to play The Hulk. Enough of my ramblings, read on to check out the posters!

Finally, after months of teaser trailers, set videos and dozens of images, Warner Bros. has finally released the first full-length, theatrical trailer for their upcoming and highly anticipated sequel The Dark Knight Rises. I'll admit, when it was first revealed that Bane would be the primary villain in Christopher Nolan's third and purportedly final Batman entry, I was a bit hesitant. After seeing the film's teaser trailer a few months back, I was able to set my hopes a little higher. Now, after seeing the first full-length trailer for the movie, it warms my heart to say that The Dark Knight Rises is my most anticipated motion pictures of 2012.
You can read on to check out the trailer for yourself (if you haven't done so already) and be sure to let us know what you think! The Dark Knight Rises arrives in theaters July 20, 2012 and stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Juno Temple and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.
