Did Taylor Swift forgive Kanye West? Do you remember when Taylor Swift performed her song "Innocent" at the 2010 Video Music Awards? There was some speculation as to what Taylor was trying to say with her performance. At the beginning of her performance, the camera closed in on a small television set that replayed the 2009 Video Music Awards incident in which Kanye West interrupted Swift's acceptance speech for 'Best Female Video.' Then, the TV cut to static. The scene on the television certainly wasn't random. It had something to do with the song Taylor was about to sing.

At this point, Taylor hasn't made any public statement regarding the meaning behind her performance at the 2010 Video Music Awards, but most viewers were smart enough to put two and two together. The lyrics really seemed to reflect on Kanye West. It seemed like Taylor was granting Kanye her forgiveness through the song "Innocent." It was also as if Taylor was trying to say that what's done is done. It's time to move forward. It's as if she was saying that it doesn't matter what Kanye did in the past, he's still innocent. Everybody makes mistakes and we just have to look past them.

Recently, Kanye West tweeted that he wrote a song for Taylor Swift. He said he'd love her to perform it and if she didn't, he would perform it for her. It sounds like Kanye West is a changed person. Before, he would have apologized just to save his image, but this time it seems like Kanye West is really set on fixing his mistakes. What do you guys think?
