I'm not sure it's such a good idea for Summit Entertainment to be releasing their third entry in the wildy popular "Twilight" franchise in the summer as the sun shines at its brightest and we all know that vampires and sunlight do not mix.  Okay, enough of me trying to be funny.  Hoyts Distribution has confirmed a June30, 2010 release for "Twilight Saga: Eclipse".  The studio seems to be following in the footsteps of the "Harry Potter" series as November was the original month of release until mid-July became a good choice.  In other countries around the world, the film is scheduled for release July 10, 2010.

In director David Slade's "Eclipse", Bella and Edward have been reunited, but their forbidden relationship is threatened to be torn apart again with an evil vampire still seeking her revenge. And Bella is forced to choose between her true love for Edward or her friendship with Jacob Black as the struggles between vampires and werewolves continues. But there is still another choice for Bella to make, mortality or immortality?
