According to various reports, Summit Entertainment finally managed to squeeze passed the MPAA with a PG-13 rating for the first part of their fourth installment in their wildly popular vampire series which is entitled Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1.As we reported on several occasions, the studio's biggest trouble in regard to landing a PG-13 rating was the birth scene involving Edward and Bella which is extremely violent. Edward is forced to bite into Bella in order to get the baby out or she's going to die. The scene has been described as 'horrifying' and the MPAA felt the exact same way. Nevertheless, it looks like the studio has cut the graphic scene down just enough to snag their desired rating for the film.
Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 arrives in theaters this November and stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, Billy Burke, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone and Anna Kendrick.
