The third and final entry in Christopher Nolan's blockbuster Batman franchise is currently shooting in Los Angeles, California and we've been seeing dozens of set photos hitting the web on a daily basis. The latest image features the dark knight's new gadget, the Batwing, flying above a crowd of people. We're still not sure if the Batwing will function as an airplane or similar to a spaceship that simply hovers several feet above the ground. Either way, it looks awesome and next summer can't get here soon enough.You can read on to check out the image of the Batwing and be sure to share your thoughts. The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20, 2012 and stars Christian Bale, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Juno Temple and Gary Oldman. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.
