A new photo was recently released on the official The Dark Knight Rises Facebook page and it features Bruce Wayne/Batman (Christian Bale), who's face is covered in bruises and who's left eye is swollen completely shut. If I had to guess, I'd say this is the fancy work of Bane (Tom Hardy). We've seen over a dozen set photos of Batman and Bane going at it and this is apparently the outcome at some point the movie.You can read on to check out the new image and be sure to share your thoughts! The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters next July and stars Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Juno Temple and Michael Caine. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan and it has been confirmed that this will be the last entry in Nolan's Batman trilogy. The Dark Knight stands as one of the highest grossing motion pictures of all time and it's projected that the final installment will do as well if not better than both of its predecessors.
