Paranormal Activity 3 Coming October 2011

Paranormal Activity 3 coming October 2011. Bloody-Disgusting recently confirmed that "Paranormal Activity 3" has been greenlit by Paramount Pictures and that it will be arriving in theaters just next year, October 21, 2011 to be more precise.
 
Honestly, I got bored after "Paranormal Activity." The sequel was more or less the same film. The original film, written and directed by Oren Peli, worked because it used a similar marketing strategy as "The Blair Witch Project." When viewers think what they're watching is real, it's  far more shocking. Perhaps that's why I didn't enjoy "Paranormal Activity 2" near as much as the first. It just seemed like the realism had been sucked try.
 
I'm happy for Paramount Pictures, however. These films can be made with pocket change thus it's not too difficult to make a profit off of them. Nevertheless, I just hope this isn't a new never-ending franchise to replace "Saw." We'll keep you posted when we learn more.
