Daniel Craig joins 'Girl With Dragon Tattoo.' The world-wide best-seller "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" has already been transformed into a feature length motion picture in Sweden, but now, Americans will have a cimematic adaptation to look forward to and Daniel Craig (aka James Bond) has landed a part as one of the leads.
 
Deadline Hollywood has confirmed that Daniel Craig has signed on to play the lead in the American adaptation of Stieg Larsson's best-selling mystery novel entitled "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo."
 
As of now, nobody has been cast in the role of Lisbeth Salander (the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) but various reports claim actors like Ellen Page, Kristen Stewart and Rooney Mara are frontrunners for the part.
 
"The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" is the first of three movies from the trilogy that was originally scheduled to his theaters December 2010, but I'm sure the release date as been pushed back since the most important character has yet to be cast.
