'Wolverine 2' begins filming January 2011. According to sources, the sequel to the blockbuster smash "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" will begin filming next January. The second installment in the spin-off will reportedly be filmed in Japan.

Christopher McQuarrie who wrote the scripts for both "X-Men" and "Valkyrie" will be penning the sequel, however, the director of the picture is still unknown. The script will be based on a story cycle by Frank Miller and Chris Claremont.

A source at Showbiz411 claims the story will be different from the original film and beautiful. The source states, "It's a beautiful story and will be very different than the first film."
