oscar2010 Academy Award nominations announced. Actress Anne Hathaway, a member of the Academy, announced the nominees for the 82nd Annual Academy Awards this morning at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

The nominees for 'Best Picture' include: "Avatar", "The Blind Side", "District 9", "An Education", "The Hurt Locker", "Inglorious Basterds", "Precious", "A Serious Man", "Up" and "Up In the Air".

I'm not exactly sure how the new system is going to work out. I mean, that's a lot of great movies to select just one 'Best Picture' from. Not to mention it's a shame the system wasn't put into effect last year when "The Dark Knight" was snubbed from a nomination.

Read on for the rest of the nominations.
