'When in Rome' Charmless and Forgetting

movies'When in Rome' charmless and forgetting. Touchstone Picture's new comedy "When in Rome" has arrived in theaters and stars Kristen Bell ("Veronica Mars") and Josh Duhamel ("Las Vegas"). While I admire both actors, it doesn't look like the film is very likeable as top film critics gave it negative reviews. The film also stars Dax Shepard, Will Arnett, Jon Heder and Danny DeVito.

Janice Page over at The Boston Globe gave the film a painful 'D'. She said it was "predictably charmless and forgettable". Michael Phillips from the Chicago Tribune seemed to agree as he gave the film a 'D+' saying "Certain scenes in When in Rome signify nothing less than death of screen slapstick".

Yikes! That's a damn shame considering I really like Kristen Bell and several other stars in the film. What do you guys think? Have you seen "When in Rome"? Do you agree with the critics?
