It seemed like "Scream 4" was on the Weinstein Company's backburner for the longest time with little to know updates in months (sometimes years) at a time. Now, there seems to be a new update nearly every day. Actress Courtney Cox, who starred in all three previous films and is confirmed to reprise her role in the fourth film, recently spoke with Associated Press and it still looks like the script by Kevin Williamson is still uncompleted. You can read on to see what the actress had to say. "Scream 4" is said to be the start of a new trilogy. While original actors Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courtney Cox are all confirmed to be reprising their roles and Kevin Williamson is back to write the script, there's no word as to whether Wes Craven will return to the director's chair.
"They're probably back living in Woodsboro," Cox said referring to the small California town that was the setting of the first film. "I think that he's probably still deputy, and I've had a lot of kids. I don't know. I'm probably miserable, and then I'm sure a lot of murdering will happen."
