I knew "Ghostbusters 3" has been a possibility for awhile now, but I didn't realize just how close it was to actually being made. Original actor Dan Aykroyd gave a few updates on the film. He announced that writers Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg are currently "hacking out a first draft". He also stated that Sony is enthusiastic about the project. While the film is closer to production than ever, Aykroyd assured fans that the project was far from a go. Oh well. At least the there's actually a script being written. The script is always a means there's a greater possibility that a movie is going to happen. I loved the original "Ghostbusters", but the sequel was kind of lame in my opinion. Here's to hoping the third is as good as the first!
