Dark Knight Rises Photo Shows Close Look at Bane's Nasty Neck Scar
Written by Chad Langen    Wednesday, 25 January 2012 07:28    Print E-mail
Batman BeginsA new photo has hit the web from Warner Bros. highly anticipated and final installment in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy The Dark Knight Rises. The image features a close look at Bane's neck which has one nasty looking scar going down it. In addition, Tom Hardy's seems to have a bad case of back-ne which has lead many people to believe that the actor used steroids to buff up for the role. I hate to be the one that breaks this, but there are far more causes for acne on the back than just steroids. It could be a result of dieting or it could be a medical condition. Seriously, this is exactly how rumors start.

In any case, you can read on to check out the photo and be sure to share your thoughts!

Bruce Wayne Gets Lectured In New Dark Knight Rises Photo
Written by Chad Langen    Wednesday, 04 January 2012 06:48    Print E-mail
BatmanThough the release of Warner Brothers' highly anticipated sequel The Dark Knight Rises is still nearly seven months away, the fact that it's now 2012 makes it seem a lot closer. Last month, we witnessed the first theatrical trailer for the film which made my anticipation for the movie practically unbearable. I mean I have to be honest, when the studio first greenlit the picture, I was shaking my head in disbelief. Out of all the villains Christopher Nolan could bring to life, he chose Bane? And don't even get me started on Catwoman's costume. Nevertheless, having seen the trailer and dozens upon dozens of photos, Christopher Nolan made one bad ass villain out of Bane. I'm still not sure what I think of Catwoman but her new look is quickly growing on me.

Moving on, a brand new image from the film recently hit the web and it features a serious Bruce Wayne getting lecured by Alfred. The photo comes from the portion of the trailer in which Alfred says to Bruce, "You are as precious to me as you were to your own mother and father. I swore to them that I would protect you and I haven't." You can read on to check out the image!

Disney's The Muppets Movie Review
Written by Adam Azoulay    Wednesday, 21 December 2011 06:24    Print E-mail
The MuppetsEveryone loves the Muppets, and if you don't then there's something wrong with you, not them. That's like saying you don't like ice cream or kittens. The Muppets are everything that's right about show business. Not necessarily subversive in an overt way but consistently comedicly simple and absurd. If you watched the Muppets as a kid then there is a special place in your heart where they reside, and if you didn't then your childhood was robbed of something magical.

The Muppets have been stuck for almost two decades doing parodies of well known stories. This new movie is the first attempt to return to their roots, and to what made them great on their TV show. The TV show represents the height of their brilliance, followed by a handful of great movies, and then subsequently some not so great ones. But they are back to basics and that's a good thing.

In this latest Muppet movie the Muppets must put on a telethon in order to raise enough money to save their old studio from being destroyed. The movie is less about Kermit and the Muppets and more about a new Muppet named Walter. And while at first this may seem a little disappointing, what you realize is that Walter’s story parallels the films writer and star Jason Segel’s real life experience making the Muppet movie. It’s obvious that he was a true fan and made a film that honored the legacy of the Muppets. Segel plays Walters brother and comic foil Gary, and Amy Adams plays Gary’s girlfriend Mary.

The AvengersEight character posters have hit the web for Marvel's upcoming and highly anticipated superhero saga The Avengers which brings together well known heroes like Nick Furry, Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Loki, Hawkeye and Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk. The film, which hits theaters May 4, 2012, stars Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett Johansson.

You can read on to check out the posters and be sure to share your thoughts! Joss Whedon directs the film which will battle Warner Brother's The Dark Knight Rises for the title of highest growing motion picture of summer 2012. Personally, I'm still upset that Edward Norton won't be reprising his role as Bruce Banner. I thought he did a fantastic job in The Incredible Hulk. Mark Ruffalo is a talented actor, don't get me wrong, but Edward Norton was born to play The Hulk. Enough of my ramblings, read on to check out the posters!

The Dark KnightFinally, after months of teaser trailers, set videos and dozens of images, Warner Bros. has finally released the first full-length, theatrical trailer for their upcoming and highly anticipated sequel The Dark Knight Rises. Now, after seeing the first full-length trailer for the movie, it warms my heart to say that The Dark Knight Rises is my most anticipated motion pictures of 2012.

Written by Chad Langen    Saturday, 03 December 2011 17:01    Print E-mail
BatmanThis is just a funny little image that popped up on the net from the set of Warner Bros. upcoming and highly anticipated sequel The Dark Knight Rises. Actor Tom Hardy must have had some down time between shooting scenes as the following image shows him playfully attacking a crew member while dressed in his Bane costume. While the two are clearly just horsing around, Tom Hardy has described Bane as being extremely viscious and very calculated in how he attacks his victims.

You can read on to check out the image and be sure to share your thoughts! I don't know about you guys, but July 2012 seems like light years away. I'm just thankful Warner Bros. has kept the updates coming on a regular basis otherwise I'd be on the verge of a serious breakdown.

The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Juno Temple, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman. The sequel his theaters July 20th, 2012 and is directed by Christopher Nolan. Stay tuned!

TwilightYes, folks, it's another Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn clip. In this particular clip, Bella and Edward are on their honeymoon and romantic sparks are certainly flying between the newly weds. Edward sweeps his wife off her feet and then he asks Bella if she'd be interested in taking a swim.

You can read on to check out the clip and be sure to share your thoughts. Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 arrives in theaters November 18, 2011. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait another year for the release of the second part of Breaking Dawn as it won't hit the big screen until next November. Both films star Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli and Dakota Fanning.

In related news, we revealed a couple of months back that Summit Entertainment was having a difficult time getting Breaking Dawn passed the MPAA with a PG-13 rating. Can you imagine having to be 17 to see a Twilight film? Fortunately, the film did get its PG-13 rating but that means the editing team had to do a lot of trimming down. I guess we'll find out in a few weeks just how much was cut from the film.

TwilightTwilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 will be arriving in theaters very soon and Summit Entertainment is gearing up for the release by flooding the net with new clips and stills from the film. I've never been much of a fan of the studio's promotional technique. I think they reveal way too about the Twilight movies before they're released and Breaking Dawn - Part 1 is no exception. In fact, the studio recently released a brand new clip from the film in which Bella grows concerned after realizing her period is late. Upon looking at her stomach in the mirror, she comes to the startling realization that she may be pregnant and looks to Edward for reassurance.

You can read on to check out the clip and be sure to share your thoughts. Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 is the first film in the two-part finale that arrives in theaters November 18, 2011. A Good Day to Die Hard Coming Valentine's Day 2013
Written by Chad Langen    Thursday, 13 October 2011 09:31    Print E-mail
Die Hard20th Century Fox has given an official title and release date to the fifth installment in their hit Die Hard franchise. A Good Day to Die Hard is scheduled to hit theaters February 14th, 2013. Valentine's Day lands on a Thursday that year. The Seventh Son is the only other film scheduled to open that wekend at this time.

No details have been revealed as far as the story-line is concerned, however, it was reported awhile back that Bruce Willis would definitely be interested in returning for a fifth film as the iconic John McClane. Mary Elizabeth Windstead, on the other hand, recently revealed that she probably wouldn't be back for another Die Hard film. She played McClane's daughter, Lucy, in Live Free or Die Hard.

I'm not sure if released a Die Hard flick on Valentine's Day is a smart move or not. I've never known the action franchise to have a large female following, but I guess we'll find out come 2013, if of course, that release date sticks. We'll keep you posted!

Kristen Stewart Talks Bella's Different Personalities in Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn
Written by Chad Langen    Thursday, 13 October 2011 09:17    Print E-mail
TwilightSummit Entertainment's wildly popular series The Twilight Saga is quickly coming to an end with Breaking Dawn - Part 1 arriving in theaters November 18th. Actress Kristen Stewart recently talked about what it was like switching between the various versions of her character, Bella Swan, in this film as well as the last installment, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.

"It was such a long process of the two movies being shot at the same as if they're one. You shoot, obviously, out of order and you keep going back and forth between being pregnant, human and dead vampire Bella. There's so many different versions of Bella in this, it's insane. It was a strange experience walking on set the first time I played a scene as a vampire because I'd watched everyone around me doing it all the time. I sound so lame, but vampire Bella really is my favorite character - she's very representative of a matriarch. She's very intuitive on almost a psychic level and no one ever acknowledges it, which is interesting. Maybe that says something about Stephenie (Meyer) that she doesn't get respect for all of her f--king amazing qualities."

The Dark KnightThe Dark Knight Rises is arguably the most anticipated film of 2012. It's the final entry in Christopher Nolan's blockbuster Batman trilogy that has grossed over a billion dollars world-wide. Even though the flick doesn't arrive in theaters until next summer, July 20, 2012 to be exact, dozens upon dozens of photos as well as videos have made their way online over the last few months which has been more than enough to tide us over until the film's release.

The latest image to hit the web is a high quality and extremely close look at the Batpod. Just recently, Batman (Christian Bale) was seen driving it through downtown Los Angeles for a chase scene in the movie involving the Los Angeles Police Department. This is the first image that I've seen without somebody on the back of the Batpod. You can read on to check it out and be sure to share your thoughts!

So to hold you over, we've gotten our hands on a new image from the film which features the Cullen family being attacked by werewolves. You can check it out inside! In addition, we'd like to apologize for the quality of the photo. We tried to enhance it but it didn't do much good.
