5 Things Guys Secretly Dislike About Girls

LifestyleWhat does he think of me? Does he like my perfume? Am I wearing too much make-up? Do these questions sound familiar? They should considering these are just a few of the many questions women ask themselves when looking for love. Women are often eager to open up and share their dating tips, but men, they're a lot more secretive. While a lot of guys are afraid to admit their preferences, rest assured, they have them.

While I may only be 27 years old, I've had my share of relationships. Yes, some were more serious than others but no matter the length, there were always things I really liked about each woman and things I absolutely could not stand. It's the same way with all men. Such is the reason I've made a list of five things guys dislike about girls even though they're often afraid to admit it.

For those of you ladies who are new to dating, you'll definitely want to read over my list. Find out what your man really thinks of that new outfit you spend $200 on last week. In addition, if you have your own advice to share, we'd love to hear it!

1) Believe it or not, the less make-up you have on -- the better. Sure you can cover your face with expensive toner and lipstick, but guys would much prefer to see your natural beauty. After all, unless you're putting on make-up every second of the day, your true colors are going to be seen eventually.

2) So many women think that the more money they spend on an outfit, the better they're going to look. to their man. Not true. You've seen the way most men dress and a majority of the time, they're not exactly dressing to impress. With that said, men aren't familiar with most brands of women's clothing. If you had on an outfit from Wal-Mart one day and from Gucci the next, I assure you, your man wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

3) When going to the movies, one of our favorite things to do as men is snuggle up next to our date. In most cases, the man is the one who pays for admission. So it makes sense he's going to want to watch the movie he paid to see. One thing guys can't stand is when their date won't shut up. Obviously we like to hear what you women have to say, but there's a time and a place and that place isn't at a theater in which we paid hard earned money to gain admission into. Put it this way, if you're ever asked to go get some popcorn, that means you're talking too much.

4) Women are definitely mistaken when they feel that men should pay for everything. While that is the tradition, men also like to be treated every now and then. The next time you and your partner go out to eat or to see a movie, throw him a curve ball and offer to pay. I promise you will get huge brownie points for the effort. Whether he lets you pay or not, it will show him that you care.

5) Never under any circumstance tell a man that you love him unless you're absolutely sure he loves you back. Guys hate the word 'love' when it has no meaning and whether you ladies want to admit it, a lot of you throw the word around like it's going out of style. With that said, if a guy tells you he loves you than you definitely have something to be excited about. Like I said, most guys don't use the word 'love' unless they absolutely mean it.

Well, there's my list. I hope you find these tips helpful. If you don't agree with everything I said, that's okay too. I can't speak for every guy, but this is from my own experience. I've talked to many friends and most of them have agreed with me on nearly every level. Once again, if you have your own thoughts, feel free to post them below.
