| Netflix Prices Change, Angers Customers

 Surely most Netflix users have heard by now about the company's price changes that are effective immediately for new subscribers and in September for current subscribers. If not, take a look at this.
Netflix recently announced some new price changes that they claim are better for their customers. Simply put, they raised their prices and tried to make their customers feel good about it but they're obviously not as dumb as they think. In fact, I was reading some of the comments left under various news posts and needless to say, a lot of people are enraged.
Before, customers could select a subscription package that would allow them to watch an unlimited number of DVDs as well as stream an unlimited number of movies to their televisions and computers for a mere $9 a month. Of course, they're only allowed one DVD out at a time but still, if they were to watch a DVD the same day they received it in the mail and sent it back the next day, that's about 5 or 6 DVDs a month. If they couldn't find a particular title in the company's streamable movies, they would have the DVD sent out. Once again, that was for a mere $9 a month. Read on for the full story!

| Is May 21, 2011 the End of the World?

 I know I shouldn't be discussing this on an entertainment news website, but I couldn't resist. The hottest search on the world wide web for the last few days has been 'End of the World May 21, 2011.' Apparently there's a group of Christians out there who claim to have learned, by using math, the exact day the world will end. They claim the rapture will take place some time today and an earthquake will strike New Zealand at around 6:00 PM and spread across the globe, opening up the ground and destroying the world.
For those of you unfamiliar with 'rapture' in biblical terms, it's when all of those who have been saved by Jesus rise to the heavens while those who aren't saved are left to suffer as the world begins to fall apart around them. The bible says the saved will hear the sound of a trumpet before being taken to heaven.
The prediction of Judgement Day on May 21st has been dismissed by many Christians, however, because it states very clearly in the bible that nobody knows the time and day, not even Jesus. There have been similar predictions in the past and all have turned out to be completely false. In fact, many atheists are planning a large celebration at 6:00 PM to laugh in the faces of the group of Christians who've claimed the world will end tonight.
