Since actor Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight) confirmed a third "Batman" film was in the early stages of development awhile back, seemingly countless rumors have spread across the web regarding various actors playing the various characters throughout the film.  Robin Williams as Penguin?  Ryan Reynolds as Riddler?  Well, we're not saying the following actors will be appearing the next "Batman" sequel, but we'd sure as hell like to see them in it!  Read on for our list of actors we want to see in "Batman 3".

Angelina Jolie as Catwoman

Mrs. Jolie would be perfect in the shoes (or should we say leather) as Catwoman.  If you've seen the actress in movies like "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and "Wanted", you know this sexy fox is in need of a serious attitude adjustment.  Not to mention, Angelina Jolie and Christian Bale have never appeared on screen together thus this would be the percect time to make cinematic history.

Johnny Depp as Riddler

This has been one of the more popular of the "Batman 3" rumors and I can't say I blame the folks who originated it.  Johnny Depp has always had that goofy, saracstic side to him and it's hard to find a film the actor has starred in where it doesn't exist.  It's highly unlikely Depp would take the role, but if he did, he'd blow it out of the water.

Jessica Biel as Batgirl

I'm really surpised this one hasn't been a part of the "Batman 3" rumor mill.  Or maybe it is and I just haven't come across it.  In any case, when I picture Batgirl, Jessica Biel always comes to mind.  She's gorgeous and she's shown viewers with her performances in "Blade: Trinity" and "Stealth" that she can kick some ass when she had to.  Plus, who wouldn't want to see the actress in a tight suit for two hours?

Scott Foley as Robin

I guess this one really comes from a resembelance to Chris O' Donnell who played Robin in the disastrous "Batman and Robin".  Scott Foley not only has the look of someone you'd expect to play Robin, but he's yet to appear in a blockbuster, at least not one on the level of "The Dark Knight".  Seriously, Google this guy and put Robin's mask on any of the pictures that come up and tell me this guy isn't perfect for the role.

Paul Giamatti as Penguin

Yeah, yeah, the Penguin should be played by someone with a large weight copacity, but who's to say the guy can't slap on a body suit?  In any case, Paul Giamatti is our first choice to play perhaps the most disgusting character to grace the "Batman" franchise.  He's one of those actors who seems to always find his way into the role of the off-beat character and this would be no exception.
