Could next Jason 'Bourne' film be a reboot? They did it with "Batman Begins" and "Star Trek", but can Universal pull it off with their highly successful "Bourne" franchise?
While at the UK premiere for "Invictus", Empire was able to pull over Matt Damon for a moment and ask what the latest was on the troubled "Bourne 4". He told them,"There’ll probably be a prequel of some kind with another actor and another director before we do another one," he said, "just because I think we’re probably another five years away from doing it – we’ve got to get a script…"
While I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't picture another "Bourne" entry without Matt Damon, there are rumors floating about that he won't return unless director Paul Greengrass returns to the chair. And having seen the differences between "The Bourne Identity" and "The Bourne Ultimatum", I can't say I blame him.
What do you guys think? Is it too early for a reboot for the "Bourne" franchise? Will you still see a fourth installment or reboot without Matt Damon?
