tvWhen Microsoft pulled their ads for Windows 7 which were suppose to air during "Family Guy Presents: Seth & Alex's Almost Live Comedy Show", Fox struggled to find a sponsor to take their place. According to reports, "Sherlock Holmes" came to the rescue. Warner Brothers thinks the same demographic that'll watch a "Family Guy" variety show is going to most likely see Guy Ritchie's version of "Sherlock Holmes". The special, which is scheduled to air on November 8th, was reportedly too inappropriate for Microsoft's taste. To be honest, we're surprised Apple didn't jump at the chance to replace them as they're ongoing battle has been more heated than ever as of recent. "Sherlock Holmes", which stars Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, hits theaters on Christmas Day.
