The home-video industry was in bad need of a boost and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" gave it just that. According to reports, this years biggest theatrical film destroyed any competition on the DVD charts this week, sweeping all three charts in its first week of release. An unbelievable 7.5 million copies of the film sold making it the highest selling disc of the year. 1.2 million of those sold were Blu-Ray copies making it the top selling Blu-Ray title to date. We've already announced that Michael Bay plans to return to the directors chair for "Transformers 3" and is eyeing a 2011 release for the summer. Most of the cast has already signed to return.
