Hank Hill is an old fashioned, hardworking, beer drinking man who is trying to live in a modern Texas world. His wife is opinionated, his son is a disappointment, his friends are losers, and his Father is oppressive. But through it all, Hank keeps a level head, a strong sense of morality, and by doing so keeps himself "King of the Hill."

Sunday night marked the end of the decade-long existence of the long-running, critically acclaimed cartoon, King of the Hill. King of the Hill was a mainstay on the Fox network over the last decade, and the second-longest running animated program in television history, outlasted only by The Simpsons. King of the Hill featured a variety of characters that most people could relate to in some way or another.

I remember watching this show when it first came on when i was a kid. I loved it then and i still do to this day. King of the Hill showed that a cartoon doesn't have to be controversial or over-the-top like Family Guy to make people laugh, but rather showed values and class. It makes me sad to think that Hank, Dale, Bill, and Boomhauer won't be out in the alley drinking beer anymore, but i do find solace in one phrase. "There's no future in being a dinosaur, but there is one hell of a past." That's true. I'm gonna miss King of the Hill. Here's to the guys.
