Paul Walker and Scott Caan got their start in an instant classic called Varsity Blues, and they reunited in another instant classic, deep sea diving adventure, Into the Blue. Scott Caan plays his usual zany, over the top character, but toned down just enough to keep this movie at its mellow, caribbean vibe. Paul Walker looks right at home as a kind of beach bum of sorts and is flawless in this movie.

But we all know that %90 of the people who saw this movie were guys who wanted to see Jessica Alba in a bikini, and they were not disappointed at all. Alba is so smoking hot in this movie that you barely notice the sexy Ashley Scott. I'm going to go on record as saying that Jessica Alba in Into the Blue is the hottest babe in this decade. And her beauty is only enhanced by the gorgeous caribbean scenery and aquatic life that is on display in this movie.

All the eye candy aside, this movie still has a plot. This movie isn't exactly a thriller so to speak, but at times it does seem that way. This movie does have a fair amount of action in it, but not enough so that its going to be ranked up with Total Recall. Into the Blue does a lot of things good, but only 2 things great, acting and scenery, and that's more than enough for this movie to succeed. I recommend that you go out and get this movie if you want to be fully entertained for the next 2 hours. Great movie!
