David Arquette checks into rehab. Apparently David Arquette, who separated from his wife Courtney Cox, is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. The two stars went public with the split in October after eleven years of marriage and Arquette confessed he'd been drinking quite heavily since then.

Now according to reports, the actor has checked himself into rehab to seek treatment for alcohol and other issues. Courtney has publicly offered her love and support to her estranged husband. She said, "I really admire David and his choice to take charge and better his life. I love and support him."

Good for you David! I wasn't sure what the status of "Scream 4" was, but apparently it has wrapped, or Arquette is finished shooting his scenes. The long-awaited sequel is scheduled to hit theaters in April and both David and Courtney star, reprising their roles as Deputy Dewey Riley and news reporter Gale Weathers.
