Actor Leslie Nielsen dies at 84. Leslie Nielsen, star of such comedies as "Airplane!" and "Naked Gun," passed away Sunday at a hospital near his Fort Lauderdale, FL home. He was being treated for pneumonia, according to the New York Times. Nielsen was 84 years old.
 
Leslie Nielsen certainly didn't let his age stand in his way as he worked in various motion pictures in his 80s. He appeared in spoof movies like "Scary Movie 3 & 4," "Superhero Movie" and even 2009's "Stan Helsing." My personal favorite film of Nielsen's is undoubtedly "Airplane!" It was absolutely hilarious. The sequel was quite funny as well, but not near as good as the first.
 
Leslie Nielsen will certainly be missed, but he'll live on through his incredible performances in a long list of motion pictures. Rest in peace!
