Taylor Swift the new face of CoverGirl. Taylor Swift has had one busy year. Aside from dominating music charts and going on tour, the 20-year-old star is now doing commericals. She recently did a humerous bit on an advertisement for a camera company and now she will be using her gorgeous looks to sell makeup.

According to People Magazine, the Grammy Award-winning country musician was named the latest face of CoverGirl. Swift calls the role a "dream come true," however, we won't be seeing any ads for the "You Belong With Me" hit-maker until sometime in January. So that's definitey a ways off.

Swift will be schilling for a new, luxury line from the company. She will be walking in the same shoes as former CoverGirls like Ellen DeGeneres, Drew Barrymore, Queen Latifah and Rihanna. Those are some big shoes to fill, but we think Taylor can handle it. I mean, it wasn't too long ago that she was forced to defend her award for "Video of the Year" at the MTV Video Music Awards when Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech claiming she wasn't deserving of the award and that Beyonce's video for "Single Ladies" was far better and "one of the best videos of all time."
