In a recent interview with USA Today, best-selling author Stephen King slammed the "Twilight Saga" author saying “Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn.” That's certainly going to upset some fans. He also compared Meyer to "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling. He said that Rowling is a “terrific writer” stating: “Both Rolling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people…The real difference is that Jo Rolling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.” I guess Mr. King doesn't realize that Meyer's books are also best-sellers and happened to spawn two extremely successful motion pictures. Sorry Stephen, but it doesn't look like "Twilight" fans give a rip what you think.
